WHO ARE HARRIS BESPOKE?
We are a team of menswear experts who have decades of experience working directly with men looking to improve their image and feel more comfortable and confident in their clothes.
Through our Personal Tailoring and Online Tailoring services we are able to offer the highest levels of luxury and convenience all in the comfort of your own home.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
For Handmade Bespoke or Semi-Bespoke orders, the first step is to schedule a telephone consultation with one of out menswear experts, who’s aim it is to discover a little more about your individual clothing needs and recommend which of our products would be most suitable for you. The next step is to arrange a design appointment at a time and location to suit your schedule. A first fitting will be arranged for 6-8 weeks later with the potential for subsequent fittings and alterations thereafter. Once we have delivered your clothes you have 6 months to request any minor adjustments and once we have your template we can easily create new garments to the same measurements.
With our simple to use Online Tailoring platform and easy to follow self measure guide you can design and create outfits for any occasion. With a choice of either Custom Tailoring or Semi-Bespoke construction all of our clothing is cut from scratch for you, to your unique measurements and style choices.
We help you to avoid the shops and take the stress away from shopping by delivering to your door in as little as 4 weeks. We can also offer a video fitting and alterations by post if required (alteration costs apply).
HOW LONG WILL MY ORDER TAKE?
For the first order the process usually takes between 6 – 12 weeks depending on the construction and how many fittings are required. Subsequent orders can be delivered to your door in as little as 6 weeks.
Suits in our Online Tailoring range typically take 3-4 weeks to be dispatched.
HOW CAN I CHECK THE STATUS OF MY ORDER?
For personal tailoring orders you will have direct contact information for your personal tailor who you can contact at any time with any clothing related questions, including the status of any orders.
You can check the status of your online order by logging into your account via the account icon on the top right of the page or by clicking My Account below.
Please log in using the username and password you set up when placing the order.
Once logged in, to view the status of your order click Orders > View.
You can also contact us via the telephone number or email at the bottom of this page.
HOW DO ALTERATIONS WORK?
For personal tailoring any necessary alterations will be advised by your personal tailor and are included free of charge. Once we have delivered your clothes you have 6 months to request any minor adjustments free of charge.
All of our clothing is made by hand with plenty of inlay (additional fabric) inside each seam. This makes it possible to carry out simple alterations very easily.
The most common alterations are; Shorten/Lengthen Trousers, Shorten/Lengthen Sleeves, Take in/Let out Trouser Waist, Take in/Let out Jacket Waist, Take in/Let out Trouser Seat
These alterations can usually be carried out by most local alterations shops or dry cleaners.
If you require advice on what alterations may be necessary, you have the option to schedule a virtual fitting with one of our menswear experts.
We also offer an alterations-by-post service, where we can carry out the above alterations and many more (note: alteration charges apply). More information will be provided when your clothing is delivered.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY CLOTHING CANNOT BE ALTERED?
If, in the extremely unlikely event, your clothing cannot be altered, it will be re-made at no additional cost to you. However, this scenario is extremely rare.
If your clothing does not fit and cannot be altered, we offer a 30 day remake program.
To use the 30 day remake program you must notify us by email and return your clothing within 30 days of delivery. You will then be contacted by one of our menswear experts to discuss the next steps.
Once the items have been received and assessed, the original clothing will be recycled and you will receive a credit for the order amount to place an order for a replacement with any changes to the measurements that need to be made.
Note: For remakes, there is a fixed fee of £150. The clothing must not have been worn (except to try on for fitting). Replacement orders will be delivered within the usual time frame.
CAN I RETURN MY GOODS?
As all of our clothing items are made to order, once an order has been placed, we are not able to offer free returns or exchanges. This does not affect your statutory rights.
